Young Justice: Phantoms (season 4)
I was a background designer on this season.
The season was divided into several story arches .
The characters go to Mars, New York, Atlantis, and New Genesis (Super Town) for several episodes each.
I built most of the locations in Sketch Up and composited the finial artwork in Photoshop.
The show runners were Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman were the creative producers
and Brian A. Johnson was the art director.
The painting were done by by Richard Ziegler-Martin and Todd Gibbs. Amazing color work!
This was a fun show to work on!
MARS: The Martian city was deep underground.
The Royal Palace was in a huge cavern in the middle of a sacred lake.
The throne room of the Royal Palace.
The older parts of the city needed to look as if they were carved out of the rock.
The Royal Arena: Entrance and interior.

NEW GENESIS (SUPER TOWN)
Brandon and Greg wanted Super Town to be as heavily influenced by Jack Kirby’s aesthetic as possible. I did a lot of research and built several models.
These locations were really fun!
Super Town warehouse exterior and interior.
Super Town the city center.
The statues of the All Father and All Mother were later drawn in to the final BG’s by Jerome Moore. My sketches are for scale only.
Metron’s Lab:
A buffet of Jack Kirby design aesthetic, SO MUCH FUN!
As with most laboratory interiors, it gets destroyed in a fight.
