In the early 2000’s I had an idea for a personal project.

I would go through the script of Billy Wilder’s 1949 movie Sunset Boulevard and draw/design all the major locations as if I was the art director/set designer.

I ended up doing 18 large format drawings on 16 field animation pan paper. The largest being Norma Desmond’s living room which topped out at 8 feet long.

I had a show in the studio gallery (Klasky-Csupo) and sold about 38 prints.
